Improve this question. Those two versions are licensed independently. How about you just buy a regular Windows license? DanielB That's a tricky question I guess. There's no special tools that say, 'Just do the upgrade for me. Where do you get the next LTSC then?
If an enterprise has been running Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB, for example, it can shift only to Windows 10 Enterprise or later meaning , or Second, starting Jan. Ten years is usually the answer you see to that one. But it would be, if not wrong, then misleading. With the LTSC servicing model, customers can delay receiving feature updates and instead only receive monthly quality updates on devices. Features from Windows 10 that could be updated with new functionality, including Cortana, Edge, and all in-box Universal Windows apps, are also not included.

❿Windows 10 enterprise ltsb vs ltsc free - Can we upgrade one LTSB to another LTSB?
It accepted the license key and activated it without any problems, so we can assume the key itself is good. I opted for a clean install removing personal data and applications. Was it wrong? Should I keep them to ensure the activation upgrade? No error code, nothing. Looking for a fix, I found some articles explaining there's a Windows Setup problem with integrating updates during installation, and I should install with Internet disconnected. So I disabled my network connection and launched setup again.
This time it was completed without any problems. It rebooted, I completed the setup, connected to Wifi, and went to activation.
Initially, the status showed it couldn't connect to organization's activation servers. I ignored the error because LTSB also showed me the same error and it went away after I entered the key. However, LTSC tries to use the key and fails with a message that the key did not work, error code 0x It should be possible without any local KMS, if was able to be activated without it, right?
Attachments: Up to 10 attachments including images can be used with a maximum of 3. The license key itself should be valid I think, because a clean install formatting the disk, booting the setup from USB of LTSB accepted it and activated just fine. However, not sure if it's ok for people to sell used devices with such licenses.
There is Windows 10 Home for regular folks. Then there are versions for enterprise-grade customers. More importantly, how is it different from regular Windows 10? Microsoft offers several enterprise versions of Windows These versions are not meant to be used by average consumers like home users. The enterprise versions are best suited for, you guessed it, enterprises and small to medium-sized businesses. LTSC is ideal for devices that are used to perform highly-specialized functions.
But it is not ideal since doing so will disable many modern functions and features of such machines.
